ORUMA is not just an association; it is a community united by our shared heritage, values, and aspirations. Our aim is to be an organisation that is transparent, accountable, and governed by its democratically elected members. We are committed to following our bye-laws and ensuring that our actions align with the principles of fairness and inclusion. At ORUMA, we believe in fostering an environment free of religious, cultural, or social divisions. This is a place where all Malayalees, regardless of background, can come together to celebrate and uphold our rich Kerala heritage. Our goal is not only to preserve this heritage but also to pass it on to the next generation, empowering them to cherish and build upon it. We envision ORUMA as a catalyst for change in how Malayalees organise themselves, collaborate, and contribute to society. Our structure will include dedicated wings for adults, youth, women, and children, ensuring that every member finds their space to engage and grow. Through these wings, we will promote opportunities for personal and collective development, fostering leadership, creativity, and active participation. ORUMA will encourage creativity in all its forms, serving as a platform for individuals to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
